Introduced in 2006 as the complicated evolution of the short-lived 3712, the Nautilus 5712 pairs the collection's signature rounded-octagonal case with an asymmetric dial of small seconds, a combined moon phase/date display and a power reserve indicator. It is powered throughout by Patek Philippe's ultra-thin, micro-rotor Calibre 240 PS IRM C LU, and has been produced in stainless steel (integrated bracelet from launch), rose gold (leather strap from 2006, joined by a bracelet version in 2022) and white gold (leather strap only) across its run.
